If you’re bored with the classic blackjack, we have a great idea for you! Multihand blackjack is a new fun way to play the iconic blackjack game. Due to a larger number of hands, it’s way more dynamic and profitable!
How To Play
Multihand blackjack is played with one to five hands. This is, in fact, its only dfference from the classic version. You get to choose how many hands you wish to use. Depending on your selected number of hands, you need to make one to five bets in the betting spots on the blackjack table. Your wagers can be identical or varying in size – the choice is all yours.
Your goal is to beat the dealer’s hand without going over 21. For each hand, you’ll get 2 cards. Note that you must play each hand independetly. If, say, you bet on 4 hands, you’ll have to manage 4 hands. While winning some hands, you may lose others. This is the peculiarity of this blackjack variation. If you’re a blackjack rookie and/or have a limited bankroll, betting on too many hands might not be the best idea.
Like in the standard blackjack, you can Stand, Hit, Split, or Double. As you probably already know, the best situation for the player is to hit a natural blackjack (Ace + 10-value face card) in the first two cards. The natural blackjack comes with the biggest payout (3 to 2), while a regular blackjack only pays 1 to 1.
If your hand exceeds 21, you bust, i.e. lose. If the dealer busts, all you non-busted hands win. In balckjack, a tie is called Push. In this case, you neigher win, nor lose.
Multihand blackjack apps are produced by a variety of established software brands, including NetEnt, Microgaming, and Playtech. The blackjack rules across different manufacturers have slight variations. Feel free to choose the game that speaks to you and have fun!
