The work of all casinos in Goa will be stopped for one day

From October 2nd, all Goa casinos will be closed within 24 hours. This is due to the celebration of the birthday of the Indian political and public figure Mahatma Gandhi, the so-called father of the nation. This was reported by local media.

"Every year the Goa government announces on October 2 a celebration to pay respect to the father of the nation. In this regard, casino operators suspend work on this day," - official statement signed on Thursday.

In Goa, there are currently six offshore casinos and 12 casinos on land located in several five-star hotels.

Meanwhile, operators of floating casinos in Goa were able to continue their work until March 30, 2019. The action of gambling licenses was extended.
