The first blockchain-casino may appear in Macau
Maltese investment company Wide Rich Global plans to raise about $1 billion through the initial coin offering (ICO). The funds will be used to create the first blockchain casino in Macau.
According to the Macau News Agency, Wide Rich Global expects the fundraising campaign to allow it to acquire the MacClub headquarters, owned by DeClub International Company Limited.
About The Project
Representatives of the company said they want to launch the world's first blockchain-casino network in the former Portuguese enclave in which land and online facilities will be fully integrated. In addition, it is planned to use distributed registry technology to update the player database, which is currently owned by DeClub International Company Limited.
“First, we will provide a fair and transparent tokenized gaming platform for all gamers. Everyone can enjoy the VIP service and get a unique gaming experience. We use blockchain technology to manage the personal data of all users. The goal is to ensure the exchange of information in the casino, so each gamer will have privacy and security. Even if the players are in different casinos, they can enjoy the game without any difficulties, thanks to the synchronization of information in real time,” - said one of the company representatives.
ICO linked to Ethereum cryptocurrency
Wide Rich Global decided to start its work in Macau after studying legal aspects in South Korea, Singapore, Curacao and the Philippines. As part of ICO, up to 20 billion DEC tokens linked to Ethereum cryptocurrency will be released.
