Poland massively blocks illegal online gambling websites
The Polish court upheld the government's right to approve a black list of gambling websites that are subject to ban.
The Administrative Court of Poland ruled in favor of the approval of the already established in the country blacklist of online gambling websites. International companies have tried to challenge this list of domains, but in the end they failed.
According to the statements of representatives of foreign companies, the ministry tarnished their reputation by including their addresses in the black list. According to the operators, the government did not have the right to do this without an appropriate court decision. Nevertheless, according to the decision of the Administrative Court, the amended Gambling Law of Poland, which was submitted to the European Commission, did not contradict these measures.
Currently, 2,400 domain names are already blacklisted, including some recognized brands with the license of Curacao. Along with this, the state continued to issue licenses to bookmakers and support online gambling, licensed in the country.
Also I want to remind - Polish branch of the Century Casinos Inc (American gambling company) received the eighth license. As a result, new websites of this operator will appear in a number of Polish cities.
