Novomatic merges with the Novomatic AG parent company

According to a document issued on October 8, a subsidiary of Novomatic Gaming Industries GmbH is merged with the parent company Novomatic AG.

Previously, the subsidiary acted as a holding company for a number of brands, including the British manufacturer of slot machines Astra Games.

Recently, Novomatic, Austrian developer has undergone a number of corporate changes, including the acquisition of the Australian manufacturer of slot machines Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd. The deal was officially closed in January.

In late August, Novomatic announced that its profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization in the first half of 2018 increased to €318 million ($366 million), which is 12.6% more than in the same period last year.

Novomatic was founded in 1980 and now exports gaming software to more than 75 countries. The company's turnover in 2017 amounted to about €2.5 billion.
