New casino resort will be opened by 2022 in Philippines
Hong Kong's Landing International Development has received prior approval from the Philippine regulator PAGCOR for the construction of a resort-casino. According to preliminary estimates, the project will cost $ 1.5 billion.
The new facility will be located near Manila Bay in Southeast Asia. Its area is 9.5 hectares. The working name of the complex is NayonLanding. On the territory of the hotel will be located luxury hotels, shopping areas, bars and restaurants, water parks, conference rooms.
For casino there will be allocated a whole floor. How the gambling establishment will work and what games will be presented in the casino is not yet known.
The management company plans to start construction on August 7. It is expected that by 2022 the complex will be fully operational.
The Philippine regulator fell under the sights of the Audit Commission. During the audit, violations were found. This refers to payments to employees and the national government.
