Larnaca airport will have temporary casino

While there is preparation for the opening of the first casino at the Larnaka International Airport, which will take place next year, a room with slot machines appeared in the building.

As reported by the Cyprus Mail local newspaper, in a specific room inside the airport, 50 slot machines were installed. Although the availability of gaming tables here is not provided, the hall will work 24/7. The source also reported that, although at the moment the agreement with the airport management already exists, it has not officially been signed yet.

This place will become the third temporary casino after the one in Zakaki, which operates from the end of June, and the casino in Nicosia, which will open in the coming months. The Zakaki institution offers its clients 33 game tables, 242 slot machines, as well as VIP-gambling area, restaurants and shops.

The gambling commission has given out to Azure the certificate on delivery and conducting the activity connected with slot machines. Azure Gaming America announced that the National Commission of Cyprus on supervision of gaming and casinos granted it a certificate allowing to make deliveries and conduct to related activities and slot machines in the territory of the Cyprus casino resort and its branches.
