Hard Rock wants to get a casino license in Queensland

The American company Hard Rock International will fight for the right to become the second licensee of Queensland, Australia. The company plans to build a large integrated casino-resort (ICR) on the Gold Coast of the country.

Hard Rock noted that Queensland has great potential for becoming a gambling hub. The Gold Coast is famous for its attractiveness.

"Queensland's tourist assets are huge. We are sure that this industry can be expanded to the maximum. Casino - this is only a small part of the entertainment that Hard Rock can offer. Our clients appreciate the comfort, unique style of Hard Rock, inexhaustible opportunities for recreation and entertainment. Here, in Queensland, you can build an ICR on any piece of the land, and it will fascinate and attract tourists," - the representative of the company commented.

Last year, the Queensland government made loud statements about the development of the ICR. Unfortunately, the issue has not progressed, and local authorities are still silent. At the same time, Caesars received license with ability to implement the industry project. For this purpose, the ASF Consortium was formed. Consortium had to implement a $3 billion casino project, however, Prime Minister Annastasia Palazhchuk rejected it.

Nevertheless, in Queensland they made it clear that the main direction of the ICR is entertainment of the luxury class, respectively, the ICR can only be built by a major player of this industry.
