Galaxy launches an educational program for Japanese students

Galaxy (company of Macau) will bring Japanese students to new level in terms of gambling management

On Monday, Galaxy Entertainment announced a training project on the management of casino resorts, created in cooperation with the University of Toyo, Japan.

Japanese students will be taught to manage integrated resorts on the eve of the opening of the gambling industry in the mid-2020s.

The press release said that "educational project is designed to provide a new generation of professionals in the field of casino resorts the opportunity to directly familiarize with everything that is necessary for the construction and operation of the most successful casino resort in the world - Galaxy Macau."

"Together with the GEG Foundation, and with the support of the University of Macau, we are extremely pleased to share our strategy of responsible development of casino resorts with those who, we hope, will become the future managers of integrated resorts in Japan. We will gladly share our formula for success with Japan, which is embarking on the introduction of casino resorts," - said Francis Louis, vice-chairman of Galaxy.

The Galaxy initiative is different from the educational programs offered by the Japan Casino School and the Casino Academy, because it is not focused on the gambling establishment itself, but rather on teaching Japanese youth to manage integrated resorts in a broader sense, even with accounting for non-gambling aspects.
