Aspire Global commented on the charges of the Swedish regulator

After the Swedish national regulator Spelinspektionen criticized Aspire Global for failing to comply with key player protection measures, AG stated that its subsidiary AG Communications is now fully compliant with online gambling laws.

Earlier this month, the regulator noted that Genesis Global and AG Communications were unable to properly integrate with the national self-exclusion database Spelpaus and allowed some players to access the gambling service, despite the fact that they were in the list of excluded.

Aspire Global reported that it has eliminated technical issues and made full integration with the system. Earlier this week, Genesis Global also confirmed that it has fixed a similar problem.

We immediately took all necessary measures to solve a technical problem, and all our websites are already working. We strive to comply with the regulations of the Swedish market in order to provide a safe gaming environment for our customers,” - said a spokesman for Aspire Global.

The Spelpaus.se self-exclusion system was launched in Sweden in connection with the opening of the regulated online gambling market in the country on 1 January. Licensed operators operating in the state are obliged to integrate their platforms with this system.
